Child & Youth Assessment & Referral

Child & Youth Assessment & Referral provides a child-centred early-intervention process for identifying concerns affecting a child's safety, wellbeing and development.

We consider the child's experiences, strengths, relationships, environment and individual needs to better understand what may be affecting them and what support may be appropriate.

Where concerns are identified, CYP can help determine appropriate next steps, including early-intervention support, safety planning, signposting, or referral to specialist, community, or statutory services where necessary.

Our approach is trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and focused on understanding the child's experience while strengthening the support around them.
